Is PMS Normal?
Do you experience PMS symptoms?
Should it impact your daily life?
These are all questions that you may be asking yourself. And ultimately, led you to here. I am so glad you made it!
If you have regular or irregular cycles, you might be dealing with PMS. It might be monthly or every few months.
But PMS doesn’t discriminate. Extreme mood swings, anxiety, fatigue… these can all be part of the shifts in hormones. Even if you are not getting your period every month.
I’ve got so many resources for you around women’s health and hormones.
So, let’s dive into this PMS topic.
As if being a girl doesn’t feel hard enough on certain days. You might also feel like PMS and your cycle totally take charge of your life. We live in such a fast paced society.
This can ultimately lead us to feel frustrated when PMS hits We are forced to slow down or completely stop our life.
I’ve really dug deep into the concept of the menstrual cycle. You can take it or leave it, but I do believe that it’s not only a physical shift in hormones but a time to tune in energetically.
Why have we gotten to a place in our society that frowns down upon resting, sleeping more and doing less?
I think the premenstrual time in the cycle is a beautiful space to be in.
It is a time where we can tune inward, partake in self reflection and slow down.
In a way, our bodies force us to as women… and I think it is such a gift.
So what i am trying to say is that supporting PMS can be a physical and emotional shift.
Physically are we giving our bodies the right stuff? Are we eating nourishing foods? Are we detoxing properly? Are we getting rid of chemicals?
And emotionally, are we respecting our bodies needs? Can we feel comfortable with rest, time alone and introspection?
These are all great questions to ask yourself as you view this@
