Intuitive Eating for PCOS

Ever wonder if your mind has gone crazy when it comes to meal time?

Feel an external pressure to eat a certain way for your PCOS?

With PCOS, it can be common to experience excess thoughts around food.

Many of these thoughts can feel judgmental, be backed by fear and lead women down a slippery slope of constant dieting.

As someone who struggled with PCOS, I can tell you first hand I experienced this as well!

And it is possible to overcome these limiting thoughts and break-free from PCOS diets!

In this interview, Crystal shares principles of intuitive and mindful eating that can support you in breaking free from PCOS diets!

We personalize holistic nutrition and fitness plans to restore function and promote optimal health and well-being. We take into account and help you navigate all important areas of your life that impact your overall health and well-being.

Contrary to what you might think, our story doesn’t begin with organic vegetables, farmers markets, green smoothies, and visions of an agricultural utopia. It actually dates back to circa 1994 on Sylvan Place, the street where we both grew up.

How We Met

Oddly enough, we lived on the same block for years when we were kids, and have little recollection of one another. (Ok, let’s be real: Peter was a little older than I, so he vaguely remembered me, but I was too young to remember him). Peter ended up moving upstate when he was about to enter middle school, and it wasn’t until about sixteen years later when we reconnected.

Two Peas in a Pod

By this time, I was already pursuing my career in the nutrition field, and Peter was going back to school to do the same. Our families stayed close friends. I will never forget how insistent my mom was that I meet Peter. Even his cousin would talk to me about how the two of us would be great together. I guess they saw it coming: two single young professionals that shared many of the same interests and passions; especially when it came to nutrition, fitness, and healthy living!

Re-connecting

After what felt like years of hearing about Peter, I finally reached out. Then came the dates touring local farms, eating at local restaurants, hiking adventures…and the rest is history!
